Advocate for change
It’s a fact. The way we live influences our risk of developing breast cancer, but we can make changes now to reduce that risk.
Our lifestyle choices are shaped by many factors, including our income, where we live and work, the quality of the air we breathe, the standard of housing we live in, and our proximity to public transport, grocery stores, safe parks and public spaces, health clinics, and other amenities that support our wellness. These factors shape our health and the choices we are able to make.
That said, we are not powerless. Together, we can positively change the environments we live and work in, so that healthier choices are also the easy, accessible and affordable options for everyone.
Real change is made possible when people join together for a cause they believe in.
Advocacy supports our vision of creating a future without breast cancer. Work with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and like-minded organizations to advocate for policy changes to reduce the risk of breast cancer and improve health and well-being for all.
